Truly Paradise

The owner Chelle and her property managers Jon and Penny are all a class act. They are very responsive to your needs and have great suggestions where to eat, etc. They lent us a local cell phone for the week which was really convenient. Please is very clean and comfortable. Food at the resort is an informal thing but probably the best food we had in La Paz. Getting to and from La Paz is via walk-on ferry that holds 30 so a little cumbersome but it's nice at night because you're on the peninsula and have the place to yourself. We parked our rental car at the marina in town so it was available any time.

We have visited many different cities in Mexico, but I have to say, our stay in La Paz was an outstanding one. The condo we stayed in was nicely decorated and all the necessities one would need. Lots of towels, dishes, beach towels, etc. Everyone there was friendly and more than willing to help if you needed it. Highly recommend it, but be aware there is no Satellite TV. That was the only draw back, but there is so much to see and do that it did not matter.

Our holiday could not have been more divine. Literally everything,was just perfect starting, with booking with Chelle who gave us all the advice and guidance we needed for the perfect vacation. The unit had everything we could have wanted and more. So comfortable. Clean. Tasteful and cozy decor, two balconies, privacy, quiet, soft linens, great pots,pans and sharp knives, coffee pot, blender, all the little things that make being in a rented kitchen feel like you are at home. Awesome double filtered water too! The view was the best in the whole resort we are convinced. The weather could not have been better.

Everything about this place was wonderful. The people were very friendly and helpful when needed. The little boat ride to the mainland was a wonderful little ride. Golf carts were also a nice change. The condo was big, clean, nicely decorated, and with all the amenities one would need. Highly recommend it. The owner was wonderful to work with and helped solve any issues that we were concerned about, and her follow up was immediately after we returned. WONDERFUL
Wonderful Week

The pictures don't lie, that is the view! The condo is steps from a great pool, pool bar and reatuarant. The restaurant was a great option after a long day of activities. Go a little further and you're on a nice wide beach. The water was calm which made for great paddle boarding and kayaking. Tennis and golf are right on the island. Trips into town were easy with the water taxi. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The 2-bdrm condo at Paraiso del Mar (E402) was exactly as portrayed, in pristine condition and tastefully decorated with perfect views of Sea of Cortez, LaPaz, the pool, and landscaped grounds. The unit furnishings, comfy patio furniture, decor, bedding and kitchen accoutrements were perfect. The resort amenities were great and the staff was top notch! Property manager Chelle provided excellent support, and answered many, many questions; she connected us with a driver from the airport with a stop for groceries, and a golf cart to rent.

Loved our stay at this unit. Great location within the complex. Very quiet with great views. I always felt safe. The grounds and unit were very clean and well kept. Fantastic, consistent food and drinks at the pool bar. Seafood and margaritas were the best!! Highly recommend this location. Great place to get away from it all.

After going into La Paz a few times we decided to stay put we liked it so much. Pablo and Sergio definitely put on the best meal we had anywhere.

Both the condo and Paraiso del Mar are beautiful. Chelle was very helpful with planning our trip to make things as smooth as possible. The staff at Paraiso del Mar are wonderful and we felt so relaxed and taken care of the whole visit. La Paz is a great city and day trips to Isla Espíritu Santo are lots of fun. I highly recommend this rental.

Our booking at Paraiso couldn't have gone any smoother.This place was beyond our expectations. Im very picky about cleaness, this place was impecable, super clean! Had all the amenities you need from blow dryer, iron, soap, shampoo, lotion, washer and dryer (specially for us women-one less thing to carry in your luggage, right?). Weather was perfect! Beach was clean and warm.

We only have the highest praise for our stay at Paraiso del Mar. Your home is fantastic – beautifully decorated, the highest quality sheets/towels, extremely comfortable beds, beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen, and very spacious. The transportation staff (golf carts, water taxi) was outstanding – courteous, always on time, extremely helpful. We had fun at the pool and enjoyed the staff at the pool and the wonderful food and happy hour. We loved the fact that we had both the experience of a serene, peaceful beautiful resort (we walked the beach and the golf course) and in 10 minutes we could be in the heart of LaPaz and enjoy the Mexican life-style. Thanks for all your assistance and suggestions - you made this transaction so easy!
Exactly What I Needed

The condo at Paraiso Del Mar Resort was so great! My husband and I rented this condo along with two other couples and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. Each couple had their own bedroom, terrace and bathroom. The pictures did not even do the place justice! Getting to the condos via Boat Shuttle was a bit confusing the first day, but once we figured the boat taxi out, it was easy! I really enjoyed being away from town, it felt really exclusive.

We stayed here for two weeks in October, and with it being out of season, it was wonderfully quiet. The condo itself is clean, well furnished and very comfortable with views looking out over the pool and the Sea of Cortez. Even when Hurricane Paul decided to pay us a visit, there was enough to do in the condo, with games and a well stocked video library.
I can not recommend highly enough the food at the pool bar.

Paraiso Del Mar Resort is truly a hidden gem. The condo is warm and inviting, the view is spectacular and the amenities are world class. If you like golf the resort course is challenging and beautiful. The beach is perfect for reading a book, taking a nap or going for a run. I look forward to my next stay and highly recommend this property as a respite for your family and friends.

We visited La Paz on occasion of a family wedding and stayed at Paraiso del Mar, a beautiful complex, with a great location, calm and peaceful, and where all services run on time and smoothly. The pool is lovely and the beach is nice. The food kiosk by the pool has good food, nice drinks and the staff is friendly. We spent a week at the condo and it was a perfect stay:

We just returned from our 2 week vacation in La Paz, where we stayed at the amazing Paraiso Del Mar - we were more than impressed with the accomodations - spacious, clean, amazing views!! The grounds were impeccable and our two children enjoyed the pool and beach - we were treated to dolphins every morning, and even kayaked alongside a pod of dolphins!! The staff at the complex were so helpful and accomodating!!

The facilities are top of the line and everyone was very friendly and helpfull. Being on the peninsula gave us comfort and safety with the city being only a 5 minute ferry ride away! Top rated golf course!
A Private Getaway

And that is just what I needed...a private get-away. While I did want solitude, I never felt abandoned by the staff. They were respectful of my privacy, but ready to help me when needed. The condo was stunning! The minute I walked in, I felt like I was in a paradise of my own. The view from the balcony was lovely and I enjoyed drinking coffee there every morning. I loved the fact that the beaches seemed untouched.

What a wonderful place! The condo was nicely furnished and very clean. The owner, property manager and resort staff were all very helpful. The beach was sandy, lovely and private. The boat ride into town was charming and better than the cab that would be needed from other resorts in the area. The Paraiso office helped us book a once-in-a-lifetime boat trip to swim with whale sharks and sea lions. (The tour boat ride seemed a bit long, but totally worth it.) La Paz is a lovely place with lots of nice restaurants (and no in-your-face vendors like in Cabo.)

This was our first trip to Baja, and we were lucky to have found this condo. The complex is amazing - beautiful location, peaceful, great pool and beach, and wonderful friendly service all around. This particular owner-rental has about the best location, is beautifully maintained and well stocked, and has, as an added bonus, an owner as well as a property manager who are extremely friendly and helpful. I can not find a single thing I would change about our whole experience - except that 3 days was TOO short!! We definitely plan to go back.
Peaceful La Paz

We spent a wonderful week during March. The condo is furnished very nicely and has an incredible view of the pool and Sea of Cortez. The weather was warm and we walked on the beach for 2 hours with coming to another resort. The resort staff is friendly and helpful and even helped set up a boat trip to Espiritu Island where we snorkeled with sea lions, whale sharks and even a humpback whale. Peaceful Spring Break in La Paz

We had a wonderful time at Paraiso Del Mar during Spring Break. It was everything we had hoped for: great weather, amazing pool, challenging golf course, convenient tennis courts and courteous staff. Ana at the office helped arrange an incredible boat trip to Espiritu Island where we swam with sea lions, a humpback whale and a whale shark. We will be back next year!

I was not disappointed with this vacation spot and accommodations! 5 days wasn't enough to enjoy all the condo, the town of La Paz and surrounding area had to offer. There is something for everyone. I definitely would go back to La Paz and unit C402 at Paraiso Del Mar. The view from the condo was amazing beginning with the ocean to sandy beach, beach volleyball court, infinity pool with swim up bar & hot tub and beautifully landscaped grounds with grassy green lawn.

We stayed at this condo in early December 2009. The condo was very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful and the pool and beach area couldn't be better. The staff at Paraiso del Mar are very friendly and helpful. We found the town of LaPaz charming and not like other Mexican resorts we have visited with vendors, time share salesmen,etc. It is truly a typical Mexican, family friendly town. We liked how quiet it was and felt quite secluded being able to walk miles on the beautiful sandy beach.
